2026 Group Art Show
Applications & Requirements

Mycelium Gallery hosts a themed group art show every month.
Artists are welcome to apply, provided they meet the requirements outlined in each art call. Your artwork will be displayed on our showcase wall alongside creations from other local artists.

We start off each Group Art Show with an opening exhibition event featuring music and mocktails. Art will remain on display for three weeks following the opening event.

*You must be 18 years of age to participate in our group art shows and all art work

must be for sale.

We look forward to showcasing your creations!

Standard Requirements:

Review the guidelines carefully. Artwork submitted outside the specified parameters may be subject to dismissal during drop-off. Please reach out to Mycelium Gallery with any questions.

Please check your spam folder for an email from our Wix account for acceptances
• Artwork Limit: You may submit up to five art pieces; all art pieces must be unique and NOT displayed in a previous Mycelium Gallery show. Your one entry covers all submitted works.

Some shows may reflect special requirements and will be reflected in the specific artist call description
• Mediums and Formats: All mediums, formats, and styles are accepted as long as they align within the specified theme.
• 2D Art Size Limit: Maximum size for 2D art is 18x18 or smaller. If you only have 1 or 2 pieces and want to have something larger, please contact us for approval.
• Sculptures: Sculptures are accepted but must be smaller than 18x18x18 unless otherwise approved. 
• Non-Traditional Work: If you have non-traditional pieces (e.g., jewelry, clothing), please contact us for approval, and we will review them at our discretion.
• Originality: Art must be original and your own work. If you are using AI for any of your work, we must be informed. Using AI for concept is okay but we do not accept work that is primarily AI generated. We encourage all original art concepts.
• New Works: Art must be new and not previously displayed at Mycelium Gallery.
• Hangers: All 2D art must be ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger, or eyelet or D Ring and wire hanger to hang properly;art without hangers will not be accepted. Please attach a small sticker or have your name and title on each of your pieces, in case title tags are separated from your piece. 
• Title Tags: You must have title tags that are 3 inch x 2 inch or smaller to accompany each piece of artwork, to display on the wall. Title tags must include the title of the piece, your name and the price. These hang on the wall with your pieces, please consider that these tags will also be on display. 
• Name and Title: Ensure your name and title match the tags on your artwork.

Promotion:
• The art show will receive extensive promotion through various channels:
• Social Media: We’ll showcase your work on our social media platforms, reaching a wide audience.
• Printed Promotions: Flyers, posters, and other printed materials will feature your art and the event details.
• Mycelium Gallery Website: The group show is highlighted on our gallery events page.
• You are expected to share your artwork, attached poster and add the gallery as a collaborator on your social media.  Actively invite your fans, friends and family on our Facebook event, in Facebook groups, on your Instagram, BlueSky, Threads, TikTok, etc.

Events:
• Opening Day: The opening day will be a ticketed event for guests. Attendees will pay a $10 entry fee. Ticket sales support the music,   As an exhibiting artist, you’ll have individual entry to the opening event. The event will include music by our house DJ Exmaxhina or another musician that coordinates with the theme. Lucid Libations our coffee, tea and mocktail bar. • Expected Attendance: We anticipate 50+ guests at the art opening and roughly over 200-300 people will view the show before it's end. 
• Things that will happen while your art is on display are, but not limited to artist gatherings, comedy shows, variety show, markets, music events, artist mixers, classes and discussions and classes presented by Mycelium Gallery collective members. We are also open to the public 1-7 PM Thursday and Friday 3-7PM Saturday and Sunday, we encourage you to actively invite your friends to see your art if they are unable to attend opening night.
